A slide-type portable terminal with an antenna hinge is provided to comprise an antenna contact on a hinge of the portable terminal to use the comprised antenna contact as an antenna, thereby reducing influence exerted on the antenna by a metal hinge. A sliding guide is coupled with a front side of a body(100). A sliding member is inserted into the sliding guide, has a conductive surface and an insulated surface, and is coupled with a cover(500). An antenna hinge includes a connection unit(200) which electrically connects the conductive surface with a transceiver by contacting with the conductive surface when the front side of the body(100) is open, and which contacts with the insulated surface when the front side of the body(100) is closed.
