<p>The reinforcement band (10) strengthens splits, cracks and other deformities in brickwork, plaster and stucco plates. It comprises a textile strip (12), which has a coating of protective granules (14). In this way, the band during plastering work is protected against damage caused by plastering tools and grinding devices. The protective granule coating has an elastic adhesive emulsion, with which the granules (16) are fixed to the textile strip. The granule diameter is smaller than 2.0 mm, they are applied in one layer and are round. Their density is at least 10 and at most 1000 granules per square centimeter and at least 5 per cent of them are not white. They are applied on one side only of the textile strip.</p> |
