A lamp and an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) including the lamp are provided to be able to operate in parallel lamps by coating the inner and outer sides of the lamps with glass. A lamp(110) includes a glass tube(101), a first internal electrode(104a), a second internal electrode(104b), and a coating film(105a,105b). The first and second internal electrodes are respectively formed at the inner sides of both ends of the glass tube. The coating film envelops the inner and outer sides of the first and second internal electrodes. The lamp further includes a first lamp wire(102a) protruded from one end of the glass tube and connected to the first internal electrode, and a second lamp wire(102b) protruded from the other end of the glass tube and connected to the second internal electrode. An LCD includes the lamp and an LCD panel for displaying images using light emitted from the lamp. |
