A relay driving device for power supply and a control method thereof are provided to operate a relay operation at a zero crossing point of input power always even though an operation delay time of the relay is varied by a long time use of the relay. In a relay driving device for power supply including a relay for supplying power, a voltage detection unit detects a voltage of input power. A voltage detection unit detects a voltage of load power. A delay-time computing unit calculates an operation delay time of the relay according to the detected voltage of the input power and the voltage of the load power detected when the relay operates. A storing unit stores the operation delay time of the calculated relay. A control unit corrects an output timing of control signal for the relay operation on the basis of the stored operation delay time for making the relay operating at a zero crossing point of the input power and outputs the control signal on the basis of the corrected output timing.
