OPTICAL PLATE AND BACK LIGHT UNIT USING THE SAME

An optical plate and a back light unit using the optical plate are provided to enhance light condensing efficiency and a viewing angle by forming a plurality of lenticular lenses on the surface of a diffusing plate. An optical plate(130) includes a diffusing plate(120) and a plurality of lenticular lenses(124). The diffusing plate diffuses incident light through a plurality of diffusion beads(122) distributed in the diffusing plate. The plurality of lenticular lenses are formed on the surface of the diffusing plate and condense light transmitting the diffusing plate. The optical plate further includes a plurality of reflecting patterns formed on the surface of the diffusing plate, corresponding to the boundaries of the plurality of lenticular lenses, to reflect tilted incident light to the bottom face.
