The component has an electrically conductive layer that is provided for discharge of electrostatic charge. The electrically conductive layer is formed by a mixture of scratch-resistant lacquer and conductive nano particles. The motor vehicle component is proportionately made of plastic. The conductive nano particles comprise a high electrical conductivity. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a headlight with a light emission panel (2) a tail lamp with a light emission panel (3) a method for manufacturing a motor vehicle component.
