<p>An applied seal (4) is arranged at the door threshold, which can be connected to a sealing skin of the construction. The seal is fastened to the outer wall of the profile, e.g. on the outwardly-facing vertical side of the threshold (1), on fastenings provided at that location. The fastening is provided by a turned-down section in the outer wall profile, in which the seal rests. This section includes a nose profile in which the applied seal can be laid, being especially clipped- or hung-in. The upper connecting region of the applied seal corresponds with the fastening and/or the turned down section and/or the nose profile. The upper connection region of the applied seal preferably fills-out the space between the turned down section and the lower side of the floor profile (1). At least part of the threshold profile outer wall is an additional profile joining onto the threshold, especially by clipping-on. The profile outer wall and the applied seal (4) are prefabricated, preferably by mass-manufacture as an additional profile.
