<p>The method for production of silica gel with smooth surface of spherical particles consists in that the solid silica containing more than 98.5 % by weight of SiO2 obtained from serpentinite is treated with alkaline metal hydroxide solution resulting in the solution of alkaline metal silicate. A hydrogel is formed by polycondensation from the arose colloidal solution on the basis of hydrogen-silicilic acid. Under controlled regime of cooling, freezing and vacuum drying, by crumbling and leaching in an inorganic acid, washing by distilled water until neutral pH is achieved and by drying at the temperature of 105 °C, the silica gel with the declared properties is formed.</p> |
