Guiding rail for return area of seatbelt, comprising slots for being joined to vehicle body with hook element

The guide rail (1) is designed as a c-profile in order to resist the strong forces acting on the return area for the seat belt when the belt is put under tension. It has a central segment (2), two lateral segments (3), and extensions (3a) at both lateral segments bent towards each other. Two circular bores facilitate the joining of the rail to the B- or C-strut of the car body with screws. The new design of a guide rail (1) is additionally provided with narrow slots positioned beside one of the bores in order to insert the outer segments (8) of a hook element (6).
