Provided is an electrophoresis display, which is obtained from conductive polymer microcapsules functioning as a polymer surfactant, having water solubility and showing sufficient amphiphilic property. The electrophoresis display is obtained via a composite coacervation method comprising the steps of: mixing tetrachloroethylene with polyaniline to obtain a core material; adding a 3% solution of styrene-maleic anhydride to the core material of the preceding step; dispersing the mixture obtained from the preceding step at 45 deg.C under 100 rpm; adding gelatine thereto while maintaining the temperature of the dispersion at 45 deg.C to completely dissolve the gelatin; titrating the completely dissolved gelatin with acetic acid to a pH of 4.3 and cooling the temperature to 10 deg.C; and adding glutaraldehyde to the cooled product and carrying out reaction at 10 deg.C for 12 hours to obtain microcapsules.
