A pill making machine is provided to exactly and equally regulate the size of pills and to easily cut the mixture for the pill extruded in a plane form. The pill making machine uses forming rollers(10,10') with a diameter of 30x+2~3mm(x is a positive number over 1) and the number of pitches(11) correspondent to a value output by subdividing 360 by a desirable diameter of a pill. In producing the pills with a diameter of 7mm, the pills with a diameter of 7.2ymm are manufactured by regulating the diameter of the forming roller within a range of 30x+2~3mm and the number of pitches at 50y(y is a positive number over 1). Plural recessed grooves(12) are formed on the pitches of the forming roller.
