A control system of an electric clothes drying stand is provided to promptly gather up the laundry by automatically turning off a heater, a blower fan and a sterilization lamp and alarming to a user in finishing drying clothes. A control system of an electric clothes drying stand includes a body(10), a clothes hanging rod(14), a lift unit for moving up and down the clothes hanging rod, a hot air supply unit for supplying hot air to clothes on the hanging rod, a weight detection unit(50) for measuring weight of clothes on the hanging rod, a memory(60) for storing weight of dry clothes according to the predetermined weight of wet clothes, and a control unit(62) for comparing dry clothes weight from the memory corresponding to wet clothes with actual weight of clothes and stopping the hot air supply unit when reaching the predetermined dry clothes weight. The weight detection unit is installed between guide rollers(24a,26a) and the body to measure weight of clothes by detecting load applied to a first wire(24) and a second wire(26). An alarm unit(70) is operated according to a control signal from the control unit to alarm drying of clothes.
