A voice level warning apparatus in a mobile station and a method thereof are provided to keep developed communication culture with etiquette by making users execute communication by using voice-class signals of an allowable level. A control part in a mobile station inputs and establishes an environmental state according to a control command supplied from a keyboard(S100). The control part inputs and establishes a warning period time to detect levels of voice-class signals, and drives a timer to count the established warning period time(S110). Based on a control command supplied from a keyboard, the control part settles a warning signal output method(S120). If a voice-class signal, supplied from a microphone and amplified through an amplifier, is inputted(S130), the control part checks whether the timer has counted the established warning period time(S140). If it is confirmed that the timer has counted the established warning period time, the control part detects the level of the inputted voice-class signal(S150). In case that it is checked that the detected level is higher than the upper limit level of the presently established environment, the control part outputs a warning signal according to the preset warning signal output method(S160).
