A plasma display panel is provided to increase luminance and efficiency thereof by lowering breakdown voltage and power consumption through a differential dielectric structure having at least one boss. A plasma display panel includes a rear substrate(305) having partitions defining discharge cells(353), and a front substrate(301) having scan electrodes(302) and sustain electrodes(303) which are spaced apart from each other at an interval of 80 micrometers to 200 micrometers, and an upper dielectric(304) formed on the scan and sustain electrodes. The upper dielectric has at least one boss(352) protruding towards the rear substrate. The boss is formed between the scan electrode and the sustain electrode. The bosses have an interval equal to or less than an interval between the scan electrode and the sustain electrode.
