A liquid crystal display device is provided to reduce light leakage from through holes formed at a frame by forming the through holes not to reach side walls of the frame. A frame(16) is formed of a bottom part(30) and side walls formed along the circumference of the bottom part, wherein a plurality of through holes(1b) for engagement are formed along the side walls in size not reaching the side walls. A plurality of protrusions for engagement are formed at a frame type mold at positions corresponding to the through holes for engagement, wherein the plurality of protrusions are protruded from a lower plane of the frame type mold to a lower side. The frame type mold and the frame are fixed by inserting the protrusions for engagement into the through holes for engagement.
