The modular riveting device (1) has an upper section (2) with a head piece for insertion of rivets. A mechanism grips (6) the rivets and connected to hauling equipment hydraulically and or a pneumatically. A hydraulic or a pneumatic line is movable and a sensor measures the pressure of the hauling equipment. The pressure in the pneumatic and/or hydraulic line is measured by the sensor and the pressure exerted by the hauling equipment is resealable. An independent claim is included for a system.
