The present invention provides a tubular member construction (1) capable of preventing the end portion (7) of a flexible pipe (1) formed of a band member (3) from coming loose without costing. The flexible pipe (1) is formed by winding a metallic tubular member (3) in a spiral shape in an overlapped manner, and a plurality of wavy corrugations (4,5) are formed on the peripheral wall surface of the flexible pipe (1) continuously in the axial direction.
