A reel game apparatus connected to an electronic shooting game and a method for the same are provided to control the probability of doing a reel game accurately by performing the reel game in connection with the results of the shooting game in which the shooting hitting rate is controlled. The reel game apparatus connected to an electronic shooting game includes a shooting game portion(130), a reel game portion(120), a signal producing unit, and a control portion. The shooting game portion(130) realizes a simulation in which a shooting object flies to an object lamp through an object lamp. The reel game portion includes plural reels on which reel patterns are displayed. The control portion controls the shooting game portion to execute the simulation when a game start signal is received, and controls the reel game portion to rotate the reels when deciding the shooting object hits the object lamp as a result of the simulation.
