A context object which is an abstraction of content of the message is defined. The defined context object is assigned to the interfaces through which the message is to be communicated. The content of the message is accessed at interfaces through the context object. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) message exchange system; and (2) computer program product for accessing content of message.
