<p>A method for producing a sandwich structure has a core sheet (6) produced by a first extruder and textured by passing through profiled rollers (3). Additional extruders (4) provide coating layers onto each side of the core sheet. Paper suspension in a foamed or unfoamed state is supplied to the extruders and is extruded using dosing rams. The forming rollers can be cold or heated. The continuous process feeds a cutting station to produce sheets of selected size. The system is suitable for using recycled paper.</p>
