A METHOD FOR LOCATING MOBILE TERMINAL

摘要

A method for locating mobile terminal comprises: requester terminal sending the locating request information with located user's ID to SUPL locating plane, the SUPL locating plane responding the request, identifying the located user's ID, and obtaining the location information of the located user, and sending the obtained location information of the located user to the requester terminal. Thereby, the terminal supporting SUPL can realize self-location by using of SUPL protocol and locate other terminals simultaneously, accordingly, the cost of terminal is decreased without supporting mobile location protocol of MLP protocol.
