PAPER SEPARATION APPARATUS OF ATM

A paper money separation apparatus of an ATM(Automated Teller Machine) is provided to effectively separate checks by continuously rotating a feed roller in idle state by a one-way bearing although a pickup roller is not rotated. A paper money separation apparatus(80) of an ATM includes a pickup roller(81) for separating papers one by one; a feed roller(82) for receiving a sheet of paper separated by the pickup roller and transferring the paper to a conveying roller; the conveying roller for receiving the paper delivered from the feed roller and transferring the paper out of a recycle box; a conveying motor transmitting power to the conveying roller; and a separating motor operating the pickup roller and the feed roller by transmitting power to the pickup roller. The feed roller is kept in idle state and continuously rotated in the original rotational direction although the power is not transmitted, by press-fitting a one-way bearing(45) to a gear combined to a shaft of the feed roller.
