A method for calculating the wheel speed of a vehicle is provided to detect the low wheel speed by increasing a buffer value due to an over-flag and to detect the high wheel speed by a repeated running counter value in the same cycle without using the overflag when over-flag interrupt and wheel speed input interrupt are generated at the same time. A method for calculating the wheel speed of a vehicle having a wheel speed sensor includes the steps of: judging whether the wheel speed detected by the wheel speed sensor is low or high(S110); judging whether interrupt due to wheel speed input pulse detected by the wheel speed sensor is generated or not(S150); judging whether interrupt due to an over-flag is generated or not by counting the running time of the wheel speed input pulse, if the wheel speed input interrupt is generated(S120,S130); and calculating the low or high wheel speed according to the judged wheel speed if the wheel speed input interrupt and over-flag interrupt are generated at the same time(S160). |
