A refrigerator is provided to reduce formation of ices on a first guide rail and a second guide rail of the same by reducing the influence of cooling air generated in a side surface cooling section to a first guide rail and a second guide rail. A refrigerator includes a housing(10), an inner box(11), a drawer type reception container(20), a pair of first guide rails(70), a pair of second guide rails(80), and an evaporator(60). The inner box is disposed in the housing and the front side of the inner box is opened so as to store an article. The inner box forms a storage chamber. The drawer type reception container is installed so as to be moved forward and rearward to store the articles. The first guide rails and the second guide rails are installed so as to be moved forward and rearward. The evaporator makes contact with the outer surface of the inner box to absorb heat from the inner box. The evaporator is disposed on both side surfaces of the inner box and includes a pair of side surface cooling sections disposed at a position lower than the first and second guide rails. |
