PE NODE AUTOMATIC SEARCH METHOD IN VPLS NETWORK

A method for automatically discovering a PE node in a VPLS network is provided to automatically discover PE nodes as circulating neighboring PEs respectively registered to the PE nodes by using the fact that the neighboring PEs connected to each PE node are established when the PE nodes are established in the VPLS network. A method for automatically discovering a PE(Provider Edge) node in a VPLS(Virtual Private Local area network Service) network comprises the following steps of: obtaining connection information, such as a connection ID(Identification) of a pivot node, a password, an IP(Internet Protocol) address; connecting to the pivot node; extracting information about VPLS components; extracting and storing information about PE nodes neighboring with the pivot node, wherein the extracted neighboring nodes are stored in a stack data type; and processing a service group.
