Self-adhesive strip comprises an impact-absorbing support (2), preferably of foam or felt, that is coated on one side with adhesive (3) and has grooves (14) in which perforations (13) are punched. The strip gas a length/width ratio of at least 2 and is optionally covered with a release liner (4) on the adhesive side. An independent claim is also included for transport protection comprising a self-adhesive strip as above.
