The machines for harvesting crops from trees have tree shaking arms (3, 4) above catcher screens (20). These are fitted with conveyor belts (15, 16), magazines (30, 40), lifts (31, 35) and conveyors (32, 36) for empty crates and roller conveyors (33, 37) for full crates. The shakers on machines on either side of the trees are alternately operated by remote control units (42, 43).
