A portable terminal having a dummy hinge-combined bracket is provided to improve reliability by connecting a bracket with a dummy hinge and a reinforced hinge in a single unit and to reduce the cost of production and to increase the efficiency of productivity and operation by reducing the number of parts and assemblers. A portable terminal having a dummy hinge-combined bracket consists of a main body(110), a folder part(120), an LCD module, a bracket, and a dummy hinge(125a). A body hinge part(111) is formed at the main body(110). A pair of folder hinge parts(121), arranged on the same axis line as the body hinge part(111), are formed at the folder part(120). The LCD module, of which the display side is exposed to the external so as to output image information, is installed inside of the folder part(120). The bracket, installed so as to enclose the girth of the LCD module, supports the LCD module. The dummy hinge(125a) is connected to a side of the bracket in a single unit. One end of the dummy hinge(125a) is embedded and installed in the one of the folder hinge parts(121), and the other end of the dummy hinge(125a) is embedded and installed in the body hinge part(111). |
