A gamma voltage generating circuit and an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device having the same are provided to reduce the size of a PCB by forming a buffer circuit unit inside a data driver IC. A gamma voltage generating circuit includes a voltage divider(312) and a buffer circuit unit(324). The voltage divider is formed on a PCB(Printed Circuit Board,310), includes plural resistors(R1~Rn), and generates voltages of plural voltage levels, which are divided from a source voltage by the respective resistors. The resistors are series-connected to each other between the source voltage and a ground voltage. The buffer circuit unit is formed in a data driver IC(320) and includes plural buffer circuits(B1~Bn), which receive the voltages from the voltage divider and differential-amplify the received voltages.
