F-theta LENS OF LASER SCANNING UNIT AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

An F-theta lens of a laser scanning unit and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to produce the lens of high precision with a simple process by forming a diffractive pattern on a thin diffractive film and to cut down the manufacturing cost by joining the diffractive film to a refractive element. An F-theta lens(200) of a laser scanning unit includes a refractive element(220) for refracting the incident laser beam by a photo conductor and a diffractive film(210) formed with a diffractive pattern on the surface and joined to the refractive element. The diffractive film is joined on one of an incident surface and a light emitting surface. The refractive element is formed by molding optical resin.
