A wire type thermocouple attaching apparatus is provided to measure the temperature a portion of a pipe by single operation. A wire type thermocouple attaching apparatus includes a body section(10), a first ground electrode member(20), and a second ground electrode member(40). The first ground electrode member is provided in the interior of the body section and has a minus electrode making contact with a measured surface to measure the temperature of a measured object. The second ground electrode member is separated from the first ground electrode member and has a plus electrode applying a power source to the thermocouple provided on one surface of the body section.
