SYSTEM FOR PAYMENT USING ESCROW MONEY IN ELECTRONIC COMMERCE AND METHOD THEREOF

A system and a method for EC(Electronic Commerce) settlement with EM(Escrow Money) are provided to protect a buyer and a seller from unfair transaction activity by settling a purchase price with the EM offered from an EM management server. A buyer terminal(100) requests transfer of cash corresponding to the purchase price to a buyer EM account from a buyer actual account, requests the transfer of the EM to the seller EM account from the buyer EM account after receiving settlement information, and transmits EM transfer approval information by connecting to an actual account management server(100). The EM management server(300) assigns the EM corresponding to the deposited cash to the buyer EM account, transfer the EM to the seller EM account from the buyer EM account by referring to the settlement information, approves EM transfer by receiving the EM transfer approval information from the buyer terminal, and gives the cash corresponding to the approved EM to a seller actual account.
