METHOD FOR DISPLAYING THE POP-UP IN WIRELESS TERMINAL

A pop-up displaying method in a portable terminal is provided to display clearly a pop-up area discriminated from a background area while maintaining a color and degree of definition of an existing image in the background area by performing an alpha-blending process for the remaining area except the pop-up area when a pop-up event occurs. A pop-up displaying method in a portable terminal comprises the following several steps. The portable terminal checks a pop-up area when a pop-up area occurs(301-305). The portable terminal performs an alpha-blending process for the remaining area except the checked pop-up area. The portable terminal displays the pop-up area and the remaining area for which the alpha-blending process is processed.
