A bearing centering device for a scroll compressor and a method thereof are provided to simplify centering of bearings separated from each other in an axial line direction and prevent deformation thereof in the process of welding. A bearing centering device for a scroll compressor includes an upper frame(51) formed with a plurality of centering holes(73) formed by penetrating portions apart from each other by a predetermined distance in the radial direction from the center of the upper frame. A lower frame(61) is formed with a plurality of second centering holes(75) penetrated at corresponding positions to the first centering holes in the axial direction. A plurality of centering elements(77) are coupled in the first and second centering holes simultaneously, wherein the first and second centering holes are communicated with each other in the axial line direction of a rotation shaft(47). The centering elements are separated from the centering holes after the upper and lower frames are coupled with a case(11) by welding.
