An automated teller machine having a paper box is provided to increase power transmission efficiency and to prevent the breakage of gears by keeping the gap between drive and driven gears transmitting power to the paper box uniform. An automated teller machine having a paper box(230) includes a body(100) comprising a drive gear movably combined with a rotary shaft to change the outwardly protruding height and an elastic unit for applying elastic force to the drive gear in a direction of projecting the drive gear; the paper box provided with a driven gear exposed through one side and slid to combine the driven gear to the drive gear; a fixed frame(210) joined on one side of the body where the drive gear is protruded; and a slide frame(220) on which plural paper boxes are placed, slidably fitted to the inside of the fixed frame.
