A controller of water supply in a drum-type washing machine is provided to save the washing water and prevent the environmental contamination caused by the use of excessive washing water by setting first water supply amount according to the washing amount, supplying the washing water corresponding to the first water supply amount to the laundry, and supplying the washing water of the second water supply amount. A controller of water supply in a drum-type washing machine is composed of: a washing amount sensor(211) for detecting the amount of the laundry inputted in a drum of the washing machine; a water level sensor(213) for linearly measuring the amount of the washing water loaded in a water tank; a data memory(203) for saving the data-based water supply amount information to correspond to the detected result of a predetermined unit of the washing amount sensor; and a control apparatus(201) for operating the water supply course to correspond to the water supply information selected on the basis of the detected result of the washing amount sensor.
