The invention relates to devices producing energy for actuation of mechanical or electrical installations, namely to the gravitational converters, and may be used in any technical field as autonomous power source, operating in gravitation action conditions. The converter of gravitational energy into mechanical rotation energy comprises a frame, into the walls of which there is fixed a shaft, a gravitational unit placed onto the shaft and containing loads installed at equal angle distances, radially moving about the axis of rotation of the shaft and, coaxially fixed to the frame, rings of different diameter, embracing the shaft with the gravitational unit. The loads of the gravitational unit are placed parallel to the shaft and each of them is fixed with the possibility of rotation around its axis onto a pair of rods. The rods are placed with the possibility of sliding into through holes, made into the shaft uniformly on the spiral and perpendicularly intersecting its axis of rotation.
