A heating roller for a fixing unit is provided to stably couple a roller body with caps by coupling elements and remove short of coils or spark between electrodes, thereby improving the durability of the heating roller. A heating roller for a fixing unit includes a cylindrical roller body(111) formed of a conductive material, and a resistant heating element(112) provided in the roller body. Caps(114) are coupled with both P of the roller body and have electrodes for supplying a current to the resistant heating element. A coupling element(120) restrains deviation of at least one of the caps in the axial direction of the roller body and prevents vain rotation of the cap in the main body. The coupling element has a coupling part(122) protruded from the cap to be fitted into the roller body and formed with a coupling groove(124) on an outer peripheral surface, and a spring key(121) fitted into the coupling groove and formed with a plurality of protrusions on an outer peripheral surface.
