A system for measuring a deposit and a method for measuring the same are provided to prevent an inundation from generating due to the deposit by automatically communicating with a wireless terminal of a manager through a communication network. A method for measuring a deposit includes the steps of: installing a sensor tube provided with a plurality of sensors on a place to measure a height of the deposit(S10); receiving data measured by a plurality of sensors at a spot system to display and transmit the received data in real time(S20,S40); and receiving the data transmitted from the spot system at a control room system to display the data value measured according to places installed thereon the sensor tubes and to store the data on a database(S50,S50).
