A pushing device for a media cassette is provided to facilitate movement of a pushing plate by continuously supplying lubricant to the pushing plate. A pushing device for a media cassette includes a pushing plate(30), a bushing(34), and at least two transfer guide shafts(40). The pushing plate pushes a medium in the media cassette toward an outlet. At least two bushings are arranged in a through-hole at the pushing plate side with a predetermined interval between them. Both ends of the transfer guide shafts are supported inside the media cassette. The transfer guide shafts penetrate the bushing and guide the movement of the pushing plate.
