A system and a method for operating an online record shop are provided to increase recording medium purchase desire of visitors visiting a site by increasing opportunity for exposing an album and continuously offering album information to the visitors. An album information database(111) stores information of many albums by matching with a serial number. A promotion information database(112) stores the information of many promotion by matching with an ID. A management information database(113) stores screen management information. A display target selector(121) fixes a main range by selecting at least one serial number from the album information storing page in response to a display request inputted from a user system(200), selects at least one ID from the promotion information database, updates the main range by selecting at least one serial number neighboring to the serial number of the main range from the album information database in the response to an update request inputted from the user, and selects at least one ID from the promotion information storing part.
