A flat panel display and a method for manufacturing the flat panel display are provided to obtain a rapid response of a circuit region and correct and uniform pixels of a pixel region by forming a semiconductor active layer of the pixel region using a silicon thin film and forming a semiconductor active layer of the circuit region using a silicon germanium thin film. A flat panel display includes a pixel region and a circuit region. The pixel region is formed on a substrate(100) and has a light-emitting element and a semiconductor active layer(121,122) including at least a channel. The circuit region is formed on the substrate, controls a signal applied to the pixel region and has a semiconductor active layer(123,124) including at least a channel. The semiconductor active layer of the pixel region includes a silicon thin film and the semiconductor active layer of the circuit region includes a silicon germanium thin film.
