摘要 An array substrate of an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) and a method for manufacturing the array substrate are provided to improve uniformity of parasitic capacitance by increasing the parasitic capacitance and enhance the aperture ratio of the LCD by forming a parasitic capacitor on a thin film transistor. A gate line(51,53) and a gate electrode(59) are formed on a substrate. A first insulating layer is formed on the substrate. A semiconductor layer is formed on the substrate. A data line(55), a source electrode(61) and a drain electrode(63) are formed on the substrate. The gate electrode, the semiconductor layer, the source electrode and the drain electrode form a thin film transistor(57). A second insulating layer is formed on the substrate. First and second contact holes are formed on the drain electrode and the gate line. A pixel electrode(71) and a subsidiary electrode(67) are formed on the substrate including the second insulating layer. The subsidiary electrode is formed on the thin film transistor and the pixel electrode is connected to the thin film transistor.
