A velour knit having brushed surface and a method for knitting velour are provided to increase resistance against friction without generating snagging at an outer surface, and maximize warmth-keeping property with fleece at an inner surface in a dual structure. A velour knit having brushed surface includes an air covering single jersey organization at a surface(10) and fleece organization at the other surface(12). The air covering single jersey organization is woven by air-covering yarns formed with polyester shaped yarns of 75-100deniers and spandex yarns of 30-40deniers. The woven fabric is formed with piles, which are pre-treated for a uniform height and brushed to form the fleece organization. |
