An electronic apparatus, a rack mount apparatus and a method for mounting the electronic apparatus on the rack mount apparatus are provided to enable a unit to be attached/detached to/from the electronic apparatus by using a compact attaching/detaching tool. An electronic apparatus(100) is mounted on a rack mount apparatus(200) including a first case and a tool projected from the first case. The electronic apparatus is drawn from the rack mount apparatus. A second case is fixed to the tool, and is mounted on the first case to be drawn from the first case. A reserved fixing part is attached to the second case, and is connected to the tool. A movement unit moves the second case as to the first case.
