<p>A method for identifying and removing an unwanted PN code and a signal processing device using the same are provided to enable a digital signal processing unit to identify a PN code of a base station signal to be retransmitted out of an RF signal after a repeater converts the RF signal, received from a base station or a communication system, into a digital signal and to remove other PN signals, thereby improving communication quality and facilitating network operation of a service provider in consideration of radio environment in a dead spot. A method for identifying and removing an unwanted PN(Pseudo Noise) code comprises the following steps of: enabling a first processing unit to convert an RF(Radio Frequency) signal, received from a base station or a communication system, into an IF(Intermediate Frequency) signal; enabling a second processing unit to convert the IF signal, an analog signal, into a digital signal, and identifying a PN code of a base station signal which a digital signal processor retransmits after down-converting the digital signal into a baseband digital signal, and removing other PN codes; enabling a third processing unit to up-convert the baseband digital signal in which the unwanted PN codes are removed and reconvert the baseband digital signal into an analog signal; and enabling a fourth processing unit to convert the IF signal, converted into an analog signal, into an RF signal.</p> |
