A collar for a garment. The collar has an inner collar and an outer collar. Both the inner collar and the outer collar are able to be moved between a folded position and a raised position independently of each other. When one of the inner collar and the outer collar is in the raised position, the other of the inner collar and the outer collar acts to support the one of the inner collar and the outer collar in the raised position.
