INK COMPOSITION, INK CARTRIDGE, AND INKJET RECORDING APPARATUS COMPRISING THE SAME

Provided are an ink composition which has an optimum dynamic surface tension and minimizes the generation of bubbles, an ink cartridge containing the composition, and an ink-jet recording apparatus containing the ink cartridge. The ink composition comprises 100 parts by weight of a colorant; 150 parts by weight or less of a first emulsifier which is at least one selected from an ionic emulsifier and an amphiphilic ionic emulsifier; a second emulsifier which is a nonionic surfactant in an amount of 20 times of the amount of the first emulsifier; and water. Preferably the ionic emulsifier is at least one selected from a C1-C20 alkyl carboxylate, a C1-C20 alcohol sulfonate, a C1-C20 alkyl sulfonate, a C1-C20 alkyl benzenesulfonate, a C1-C20 alkyl fatty acid amine salt, a quaternary ammonium salt, a sulfonium salt and a phosphonium salt.
