A memory device having a controller of a sense amplifier driver is provided to optimally drive respective sense amplifies by selecting optimal voltage supply timings for the sense amplifiers. A memory device includes a load unit, a first pull-up driver(41), a second pull-up driver(43), a first pull-down driver(42), and a controller. The load unit is arranged between first and second voltage supply lines. The first pull-up driver is connected between a first voltage and the first voltage supply line. The second pull-up driver is connected between a second voltage and the first voltage supply line. The first pull-down driver is connected between a ground voltage and the second voltage supply line. The controller controls turning on/off of the first and second pull-up drivers and the first pull-down driver, so that a voltage for the first and second voltage supply lines is selected.
