An apparatus for manufacturing an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to set an agitator in a spacer providing device to prevent spacers forming a spacer ink from gathering together or partially accumulating. An apparatus for manufacturing an LCD includes a spacer providing substrate(9), a transfer roller(14), and a supporting plate(5). The spacer providing substrate includes a plurality of grooves. The cross sections of the grooves have a semi-circular form. A protrusion is formed at the center of the each groove. The protrusion has a circular shape. A plurality of spacers filled in the grooves of the spacer providing substrate are transferred to the surface of the transfer roller. The spacers on the transfer roller are transferred to a substrate according to the rotation of the transfer roller. The substrate is mounted on the supporting plate.
